SPB needs your help. It truly takes a village to preserve, maintain and protect our happy place. Join the fun! We are looking for volunteers to help in the following disciplines. Please email to get involved.

Interns: High School or College Age Students Looking for Community Service Hours

Mingle with friends and neighbors in New Seabury and Popponesset while attending community events. Your main responsibility will be gathering email addresses. The more email addresses SPB has the more people we contact to support our mission. With your help we can do this. Skills required: willingness to help out.

New Seabury Village Ambassadors

As an SPB ambassador you will attend your village’s annual meeting and events. Your primary goal will be to liaison between SPB and the community. Meet with other village ambassadors to determine the best way to get the community involved in our mission. Skills required: passion for SPB.

Grant Writing Expertise

The government offers many grants which SPB may be able to benefit from. If you have writing experience and can help us secure funding through grants, please contact Kathy.

Fund Raising Experience

Raising money to support the work which SPB spearheads to maintain and improve the Spit and surrounding waterways, is of the utmost importance. We need people with fund raising expertise to work with our team. Don’t delay, join the team!
